No VAT is charged: PublikMate is operated under the German small-business rule (§ 19 UStG), so the price shown is the price paid. The free plan is not a trial — nothing already posted, built or written stops working. Consumers in the EU have a 14-day right of withdrawal; checkout asks you to confirm that the subscription should start immediately, which ends that right once the service has been fully performed.
What Pro does not do
It does not tell you who liked, commented on or followed you. Your analytics cover your own posts and your own reach, and they name nobody. Who engaged with you is a record about other people, and it is not ours to sell.
It does not show you everyone who opened your profile. You see how many times it was opened, and the names of the people who chose to be seen — a switch each of them turned on themselves, and can turn off, in their own settings.
It does not take anything away from the free plan. Nothing you have already posted, built or written stops working, and there is no advertising on either plan. The privacy notice says what is stored and why.
